Is technology a threat?
What are the ethical challenges?
Let’s do the right thing!

• Understand the concept of privacy.
• Recognize the influence of technology in processing personal information.
• Information professionals accept the implications of managing private data – do you agree? It’s distinct from data privacy, which relates to collecting and processing personal information in a manner that aligns with customer expectations for security and confidentiality. Gartner identified digital ethics as a top strategic technology trend in 2019. Now, there’s little doubt that this issue will become even more of a concern.
