How to Request Data Deletion
To initiate the deletion of your user data, please follow these steps:
- Contact Support: Send an email to our support team at support@westernim.com. Use the subject line “Account Deletion Request.”
- Provide Account Details: In your email, please provide the necessary account details to help us identify your account. This could include your user ID, email address associated with your account, or any other relevant information.
- Verification: For security purposes and to protect your information, we might ask you a few questions to verify your identity. This step is crucial to ensure that we are interacting with the rightful account owner.
- Processing Your Request: Once your identity is verified, our support team will initiate the process of deleting your data. We will remove all personal data associated with your account from our servers. This includes your account details, pet images uploaded, generated names and stories, and any other related data.
- Confirmation: After the deletion process is complete, we will send you a confirmation email. Please note that the process may take a few days to complete.
Important Considerations
- Backup Your Data: If there is any information or data you would like to retain, make sure to back it up before requesting account deletion.
- Irreversible Process: Please be aware that data deletion is irreversible. Once your data is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
- Residual Data: Some of your data might remain in our backup systems for a certain period due to technical constraints but will be systematically deleted according to our data retention policies.
