No professional IM person wants to hear about whether ChapGPT is good or bad anymore, but what will AI bring to my job and what kind of projects will it help me with.
In first segment of this presentation Rick Stirling will talk about their integration of AI with their existing software tools and the progression of AI versions, speed of operation and several other factors that were involved over the first year and a half of their AI adventure. The second segment will discus the progression of enhancements along the way to enhance proper quality assurance and the final part of the session will look at the feasibility of automating the entire electronic records management process.
If you have ever thought about eventually using AI to help with those “impossible” projects this presentation is for you.
A pioneer in Records and Information Management, Rick Stirling has been involved in the industry for over twenty-five years, the last 20 as president of WesternIM. From his involvement in the delivery of the first content management and electronic records management software solutions ever created, to being one of the creators of the ARMA Generally Accepted Recordkeeping Principles, past chair of the IGP (Information Governance Professional) certification board, Rick’s experience and influence is widespread across North America. The integration of AI into the WesternIM software offerings has been the most interesting times of my entire career allowing formerly impossible tasks to finally be realized.
Today Rick is one of Canada’s most respected authorities on Records and Information Management.
